Description

The disused reservoir, located south of Crampton Tower in Broadstairs, was part of the waterworks constructed by Thomas Russell Crampton in 1859. It has a dome shape, measuring 29 feet in diameter and 18 feet high. The interior is made of brick, while the exterior features flint and daub, with the top of the dome constructed from brick and a shallow chimney. A square wooden ventilation box sits on top of the dome.
