Description

23 and 25 High Street are a pair of buildings dating from approximately 1840, situated on the east side of the street, and forming a group with Nos 17 to 25 (odd). They are constructed of stock brick with a dropped, moulded stone eaves cornice and a parapet. The building has four sash windows without glazing bars. Stone heads and cills are present, and the first floor features a fine cast iron balcony. Later shopfronts have been added.
