Description

No 1 Addington Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a basement, constructed from stock brick and featuring stone coping. The façade includes one sash window without glazing bars and a three-light canted bay window that extends through all upper floors. In the basement, there is a later 19th-century three-light curved bow window. The left side of the building has a simple doorcase with a blocked fanlight and a modern door, accessed by three steps leading to the street. The property also has area railings topped with urn finials. No 1 Addington Street is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 13 (odd) and No 13 St John's Road.
