Description

This is a large, early 19th-century brick house located on St John’s Road. It has three to four storeys and a basement. The house is constructed of brown brick with a stone coping. The front elevation features three sash windows and one three-light canted bay window extending through all storeys. A prominent central doorcase is topped with a round arched head, a decorated keystone, fluted Ionic half columns, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panel moulded door. Number 18 is part of a group with the adjacent property at 18A.
