Description
This is a large, early 19th-century house, formerly known as St John’s House. It has three storeys and originally four windows facing west, with the two southernmost bays projecting slightly forward. The exterior is constructed of dressed flints, with brick quoins and a brick modillion cornice below the eaves. The windows are sash windows with square heads, and the glazing bars are intact. On the first floor, in the southern part of the house, there is one round-headed sash window and one French window with margin lights. The front door is a six-panel moulded door with a rectangular fanlight, side lights, and a flat hood above.
