Description
Nos. 34 and 36 are a pair of houses dated 1836, constructed from stock brick with flint on the side and rear elevations, topped with a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic, featuring a parapet that steps down to the right. There is a flat-roofed dormer on the left and chimney stacks located at the center and the end right. Each floor has two segmentally headed glazing bar sash windows. The entrance is a half-glazed door positioned to the center right, accessed by two moulded steps, and there is a simple railed forecourt to the right. The left return has a six-panel door with a traceried depressed round-headed fanlight and a Coade keystone. A date stone on the left end is inscribed: "Claremont Place A 1836 R."
