Description

This is a house, dating to around 1800, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stock brick, with some parts rendered. The house has a rusticated base and a parapet with a chimney stack on the left side. It extends over four floors and has a basement. The upper floors have two glazing bar sash windows each, while the first floor has a wooden casement window to the right. A two-story canted bay window features on the first and ground floors, with sash windows. A half-glazed and panelled door is situated to the right, set within a keyed surround and topped with a rectangular fanlight, and is accessed by four steps. There is also a glazing bar sash window in the basement. The house appears on Collard and Hurst's map of 1822 and was first assessed for rating around 1798.
