Description

Nash Cottage is a house that dates back to the 16th century, with a refronting and extension from the 18th century. It features a timber frame clad in red brick, with tile hung side and rear elevations, and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a hipped roof with stacks on the left side and projecting at the left end. On the first floor, there are three wooden casements, while the ground floor has two wooden casements and a central glazed hipped porch. At the rear, there is a wing with three gables. Inside, the cottage retains an exposed frame with jowled uprights, bracing, and moulded ceiling beams, as well as an inglenook fireplace.
