Description

Cheesman's House is a house dated 1735, constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, featuring box eaves and a hipped roof with chimneys projecting at both the left and right ends. The building has three glazing bar sash windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, both with segmental heads. There is a central boarded door flanked by a two-light rectangular fanlight. To the right of the central first floor window, there is a plaque inscribed with "P. 1735 W..M".
