Description

This barn, located 15 metres south-east of Pheasant Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century and is marked with the date 1734. It features a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The roof is half-hipped with a hipped mid-stray. Inside, the barn comprises five bays with aisles, supported by arcade posts that have quadrant braces. The roof structure includes queen struts and staggered purlins. The initials "WH" are inscribed on the central arcade post, indicating its date of construction.
