Description

Tudor Rose Cottage, also known as Dumbles, is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates back to the 16th century and features a timber frame that is close studded and arch braced, with plaster infill and a plain tiled roof. The building has four bays and stands two storeys high, with a gable on the left side and a hip on the right. There are stacks at both ends and one in the center. The windows are arranged irregularly, with three glazing bar sash coved oriels on the first floor, four sash windows and wood casements on the ground floor, and a half-glazed door to the left under a gabled hood.
