Description
This is a cottage pair, dating to the 17th century and with significant alterations in the 18th century, evidenced by a brick datestone reading 1777 located by the front door of number 14. The cottages are timber framed and have been clad in red brick and white brick, with tile hanging to parts of the exterior and a plain tile roof. The left-hand cottage is a two-storey cross-wing, with tile hanging to the first floor, a hipped roof, and a projecting end stack to the left. It has one wooden casement window on each floor. The right-hand cottage is a single-storey and attic structure, with red brick cladding below and white brick cladding above. It has a hipped roof with two hipped dormers and a central stack. The facade features two wooden casement windows within segmental arches, and a central half-glazed door.
