Description

Little Chequers is a house dating from the early 18th century, with 19th-century additions. It features a painted brick exterior and a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys, characterized by a discontinuous plat band and a dentillated brick eaves cornice. There are chimney stacks located to the centre left, as well as at the end left and end right. The front of the house slightly projects, with 19th-century extensions on both sides. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of two tripartite sashes and one sash on the right side of each floor, with segmental heads on the ground floor. The entrance includes a six-panelled door located centre left, framed by a moulded wood surround and topped with a flat hood supported by brackets.
