Description
Bexon Court is a Wealden hall house dating from around 1500. It features a timber frame with exposed close-studding and plaster infill, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building consists of four framed bays and has two storeys, with a continuous jetty supported by dragon posts. The central two bays have been later floored in, converting the originally recessed open hall. The roof is hipped and has a large 16th-century red brick stack that stands free on the left side. The windows are irregularly arranged, with four wood mullioned windows and side lights on each floor. There is also a half-glazed plank and stud door located to the centre right.
