Description
Woodstock Cottages is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates from the 16th century and was clad in the 19th century. The building is timber framed and covered with red brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. It has one storey and an attic, featuring a hipped roof with a gablet that steps up to the right. There are two gabled dormers, with stacks on the left and projecting to the end on the right. The front has three wooden casement windows with segmental heads and a boarded door located to the centre right. Inside, there is tension bracing in the passage behind the door, which may indicate that this area was once a screens passage to a hall house. The roof was renewed in the 19th century.
