Description

The barn at Norton Court Farm dates to the 16th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. It is timber framed and clad in weatherboarding, featuring a plain tiled roof. The left side has a hipped roof, while the central section is hipped and extended to the right, incorporating a two-story granary with an open and arcaded return. A weather boarded clock tower with elliptical arched belfry openings is also present. Inside, the barn comprises five bays with aisles, originally featuring passing shores to the arcade posts and a clasped purlin roof.
