Description

Thatch Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century. It has a timber frame that is exposed, with plaster and painted brick infill on the ground floor, and weatherboarding on the first floor. The cottage features a thatched roof and has a lobby entry plan. It stands two storeys high with a continuous jetty supported by brackets and a hipped roof that has a stack positioned to the centre left. The windows are irregularly arranged, with three wooden casements on each floor, and there is a boarded door located to the centre left. Additionally, there is a catslide outshot extending to the left and rear of the building.
