Description
26, 27, and 27A Preston Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall and feature capped parapets. Number 26 has one window and is constructed of painted brick, displaying simple lettering above the first-floor window, along with an early 20th-century shop front on the ground floor. Numbers 27 and 27A are made of red brick, which was once painted, and have five windows. There is a segmental-headed passageway located to the left of centre on the ground floor. To the left of this passageway, there is a 19th-century shop front and doorway, both flanked by narrow pilasters with a moulded fascia and cornice above. To the south of the passageway, there is a wider shop front featuring a central doorway and a 19th-century casing of pilasters with a plain fascia and moulded cornice above.
