Description

The Ship Inn is an 18th-century public house on Ospringe Street. It is two storeys high with a three-window facade on the first floor. The building has a tiled roof and a red brick front with a red brick eaves cornice. A false window is present in the easternmost bay on the first floor; the original glazing bars are intact in the other first-floor windows and in the ground-floor window to the right, which has a segmental head. There are two windows on the ground floor to the left. The building forms a group with numbers 12 to 18 (even) on the street.
