Description
The Rose and Crown and Wood Cottage is a public house and cottage dating from the 18th century. It features a painted brick exterior and a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic, set on a plinth with corbelled brick eaves and chimney stacks at both ends. It has two hipped dormers and three wooden casement windows along with a central double sash window on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is one wooden casement window and a tripartite sash window. To the left, there is a single-storey slated extension that includes two sash windows, a central glazed door with sidelights, and a gabled hood. To the right, there is a single-storey tiled extension featuring two wooden casement windows and a central boarded door.
