Description

Strawberry Fields is a house that dates back to the 16th century and was clad in the mid-18th century, with an extension added in the late 20th century. The building features a timber frame that is exposed, with plaster infill on a painted brick base, and has a plain tiled roof. The original 16th-century section is accompanied by a 20th-century rear wing. The house is one storey high with an attic, set on a plinth and topped with a hipped roof. It has two hipped dormers and a central stack. On the ground floor, there are three wooden casement windows, and entry is through a boarded door located on the right side. A plaque on the west wall is inscribed with "H.D. 1767."
