Description
The stable block, located about 10 metres north of Throwley House, is a 17th-century structure that was remodeled in the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick in English bond and features a slated roof. The building has two storeys and a hipped roof. The front façade is divided into two stages, with the right side projecting slightly. On the first floor, there are six glazing bar sash windows. The ground floor has three open elliptical arches on plain piers to the left, and three narrower semi-circular arches to the right, which have gauged heads. The left arch contains a panelled door, while the other two are blank. There is a single-storey extension to the right. The stable block has group value with Throwley House.
