Description
Sandbanks Farmhouse is a 15th-century farmhouse that is timber framed and pebble dashed, topped with a plain tiled roof. It is designed as a hall house with a later jettied extension and a projecting 20th-century wing. The building has two storeys on a plinth, with a jettied section at the left end and box eaves leading to a hipped roof that steps down to the left. There is a central left stack and a projecting one-storey hipped wing at the right end, which has its own end stack. The windows feature an irregular arrangement of four wooden and metal casements. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a pilaster surround located to the center left, alongside a boarded door to the right. There is also a weatherboarded outshot to the left. Inside, the farmhouse boasts panelled rooms and a crown post roof.
