Description

Murton's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of painted brick with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys set on a plinth, featuring a plat band and a roof with parapet gables, along with stacks on both the left and right sides. There are two metal casements on each floor, and a central boarded door located in a brick porch that has a parapet and a four-centred arched doorway. At the rear, there is a wing that is timber framed and tile hung, with a continuous jetty.
