Description
This is a group of three timber-framed houses, refaced in the early 19th century. They are three storeys high and have a total of four windows. The houses are built of red brick, with numbers 10 and 12 painted. A parapet runs along the top, and number 10 has a dentilled cornice just below it. The original glazing bars remain intact. The doorways each have projecting cornices and six-panel doors. Number 10’s door is embellished with fluted pilasters and a segmental fanlight above. Number 11’s door is framed by a moulded architrave, but lacks a fanlight. Number 12 features plain pilasters and a cornice supported by brackets. Number 12A, which is a later shop front carved from number 12, has a modern appearance. Numbers 3 to 12 form a group.
