Description

No. 7 Abbey Street is a 15th-century timber-framed house that was refaced in the 18th century. It retains the overhang of its first floor on a bressummer. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring one window and one dormer. It has a parapet and a tiled roof, with intact glazing bars on the first floor. There is a small shop window below, which is no longer in use, and the first floor is covered with asbestos panelling. Nos. 3 to 12 Abbey Street form a group with this property.
