Description
Chapman's Farmhouse is a restored 15th-century framed structure located on the west side of Church Road in Sundridge. The farmhouse features a plastered elevation facing the road, adorned with incised diamond-shaped ornamentation, and is set on a random stone plinth. It has two storeys, with the first floor oversailing and supported by restored corner brackets. The roof is hip tiled and extends down the side as a lean-to, with tile hanging on the south elevation. This side is constructed of brick with a stone plinth, eaves, and a modern bracketed gutter. There are two modern hip-tiled dormers and modern square leaded casement windows in wooden frames throughout the building. Chapman's Farmhouse is part of a group that includes Well Cottage.
