Description
Port Farmhouse is a 15th-century timber-framed building that is faced with plaster and sits on a base of painted brick. The first floor at the west end overhangs significantly on brackets on its south, west, and north sides and is tile hung. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring a 17th-century brick chimney stack and a pentice at the back. The building has two storeys and four windows. On the first floor, there are casement windows, while the ground floor has triple sash windows with intact glazing bars. A modern gabled porch has been added. Inside, the farmhouse features a crownpost roof and an embattled beam.
