Description

The Grove Ferry Inn is a building that was originally a coaching-house on the road from Herne Bay to Dover, constructed by Edward Epps around 1830. It features two parallel ranges and is built of brown brick over two storeys, topped with a parapet. The front has two sash windows with intact glazing bars and two blank spaces. At the west end of the front, there is a stuccoed porch that has been glazed. The doorcase is adorned with a shell-decorated blank fanlight.
