Description
Parkhill Farmhouse is a restored 15th-century timber-framed building set on a base of stone rubble. The infilling has been rendered, and the ground floor has been completely refaced with cement. It features a hipped tiled roof with a pentice on the north side and modern casement windows. The ground floor at the south end has been partially converted into a garage, and there is a modern gabled porch. The farmhouse has two storeys and four windows, with the first floor of the south front oversailing and supported by curved braces. There is a small 17th-century L-wing located to the southwest, which is one storey with an attic and includes one dormer. The L-wing is constructed of red brick and has a crown post roof inside, featuring moulded capping and arched braces.
