Description

The White House is an early to mid-19th century villa that stands two storeys high with a sunk basement and features three windows. It has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffits supported by paired brackets. The building is constructed of yellow brick, with gauged flat brick arches above recessed sash windows that include glazing bars. The entrance consists of a four-panel door, which is top-glazed and set within a moulded architrave. Fluted pilasters with lion masks above support carved brackets that form a mutule cornice hood. The rear elevation is finished with incised white rendering and has quoins. There is a modern one-storey service extension added to the property.
