Description

The barn to the west of the brick barn at Chafford Park is a timber-framed structure with walls that are partly made of brick and partly weatherboarded. It features a high-pitched tiled roof and has two projecting hipped gabled wagon porches on the south side. The barn has a queen post roof with wind braces and is likely from the 17th century. There is a mid-19th century extension that includes an oast, which is still in working order. The barn, along with the front garden wall, mounting block, and the brick barn, forms a group at Chafford Park.
