Description

No 4 and the stable building is a late 15th century or early 16th century hall house. It features a one-bay hall with a large left end and a smaller one-bay right end. The building has visible framing filled with plaster and painted brick. It stands two storeys high and has four irregularly placed windows. The roof is hipped and tiled, topped with a compound ridge stack. The windows are lattice casements, and there are two 19th century doors that sit under bracketed hoods. There is a projecting left extension that is weatherboarded, which was formerly a stable and is now used as a garage.
