Description

Lord's Spring Cottage, formerly part of Bitchet Farmhouse, is a 16th-century timber-framed building that has been divided into two dwellings. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with a tall central stack comprised of linked shafts. The first floor is later tile hung. The ground floor is likely of the 18th century, constructed of galletted random rubble with red brick dressings, a feature also present on the return walls. Windows are a mix of 19th-century and modern casements. A low-sweeping lean-to extension is present to the rear, and the gable ends have 19th-century bargeboards.
