Description

Horseshoe Cottage is a 2-storey, 2-window timber-framed cottage, likely built in the 17th century, with a 1-window gabled cross-wing from the 18th century that was formerly a separate dwelling and shop. The cottage has tiled roofs, with the first floor tile hung and the ground floor made of brick. It features small square-paned casements and, in the later part, two small-paned square bay shop windows. There is one plank door and one glazed door situated between stout posts. Inside, there is much exposed timber.
