Description

This is a timber-framed building that was refronted, but retains clues to its earlier appearance, including traces of an overhang and a bressumer. It is three storeys high and has a facade of painted brick. The roof is hipped and tiled. The front elevation has three triple-sash windows. A door is located on the right side of the building, set within a four-light bay window that extends through all three floors, dating to the mid-19th century. The interior features exposed beams, and the ground floor retains good 17th-century panelling. Numbers 70 to 86 (even) form a noteworthy group.
