Description

Clarendon Place is a terrace of seven houses built around 1830 to 1840. The houses are three storeys high with a basement and are constructed of brown brick. Each house has two sash windows per floor, although the glazing bars are missing. Houses number 1 to 4 feature an eaves cornice and ground floor windows set within round-headed arcading. Houses number 5 to 7 have curved fronts, a cornice and a parapet. Porches are present on each house, featuring engaged Doric columns and projecting cornices. Number 1 has a one-storey, single-window extension to the left, built in a matching style. Number 7 has a rounded corner and three windows facing Albion Place. Numbers 1 to 7 form a group of buildings with group value.
