Description

East Layne House is an early to mid-19th century building of two storeys and a basement. The exterior is stuccoed, with a hipped roof covered in old tiles and a moulded parapet. The corners are emphasised by long and short quoins. There are five sash windows, each set within an Italianate architrave. A stringcourse runs along the facade. The central doorcase features a cornice, two console brackets, a semi-circular fanlight above the door, and a six-panelled door.
