Description

74 King Street is a mid-19th century building designed in the Georgian style. It has two storeys, a basement, and attics, constructed of yellow brick. The slate mansard roof features three dormers, with the central dormer having a pediment. The parapet is panelled with red brick, and there is a red brick modillion eaves cornice along with a stringcourse. The building has three sash windows with intact glazing bars, and the ground floor windows are set within round-headed arcading. There is a simple round leaded doorcase on the right side, with three stone steps leading up to the street. This building is part of a group with Nos 70 to 86 (even).
