Description
This barn, located about 43 metres east of Pimps Court, is a Grade II listed building dating back to the medieval period and constructed in two phases. It is built from ragstone rubble and features a plain tile roof. The wall facing the road is approximately 120 feet long and is supported by six stone buttresses. The right half of the barn projects slightly forward, and it has boxed eaves. Historical photographs indicate that the pitch of the roof was once altered towards the centre, but it is now uniform. There are double doors with red brick dressings situated between the second and third buttresses from the left, closer to the right end. The interior has not been inspected, and the roof was damaged by fire in the early 20th century. The barn was previously part of the East Farleigh civil parish.
