Description
Sheathers is a farmhouse located on Lenham Heath Road in Lenham, dating from the 15th century and later. It features a timber-framed structure, with red brick on the ground floor in Flemish bond and weatherboarding on the first floor. The roof is covered with plain tiles and is hipped with gablets. The building stands two storeys high on a stone plinth, with a red brick stack on the front slope of the roof, positioned off-centre to the left, and a projecting stack at the left end. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of four casements: one three-light, two two-light, and one three-light through a dormer. There is a ribbed door set in a 20th-century red brick porch towards the right end. The interior has not been inspected. This building was formerly known as Sheathers Farmhouse.
