Description

Burnt Mill, also known as the mill building, is an 18th-century watermill located on Charing Edgerton Road in Charing Heath. The structure has three storeys, with the ground floor constructed of stone and the upper storeys covered in weatherboarding. It features a hipped roof made of old tiles, although many tiles were missing at the time of the survey in 1979. The building is situated on the boundary between Ashford Borough and Maidstone Borough, with the majority of it located within Maidstone Borough, specifically in the former Rural District of Hollingbourn, Lenham Parish.
