Description
Hubbards Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is timber framed, with the ground floor rendered and the first floor weatherboarded, topped by a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a continuous jetty along the front elevation, which continues along the right end supported by a moulded dragon post. The roof is hipped to the right. There are projecting red brick stacks at both the left and right ends of the front elevation. The windows have an irregular arrangement, consisting of two 2-light casements. An off-centre ribbed door is located to the left. To the right, there is a rear wing with a weatherboarded end gable and a half-hipped roof, along with a lean-to built of chequered red and grey brick. A boarded door with a segmental head is positioned near the junction with the main house. The interior has not been inspected.
