Description
Westlea Barn and Fairview Barn is a former barn with an attached cart shed and store, dating from the 18th century or earlier. The structure is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile roof. It features a brick wall on the left (west) aisle and is arranged in two sections at right angles to the road. The barn has aisles at both the front and rear, with the section furthest from the road being two storeys high. The ground floor includes a cart shed supported by brick piers, while the first floor serves as a timber-framed weatherboarded store. The barn has a half-hipped roof, and the cart shed and store have a higher ridge with a weatherboarded gable facing the barn. The aisle is interrupted by canopied double doors located to the right of the barn's centre, and there are also double doors leading to the first floor of the cart shed and store. Lean-tos, also weatherboarded, are present at both ends, with the one on the left being aisled to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
