Description

These railings, dating from the 19th century, are made of painted iron and stand about 1 metre high. They feature spear-head designs with vase newels and extend across the front of Shepherd's House, stopping short of the left end, before returning north along the east side of the house. This return section marks the boundary between the garden and the footpath that runs between the street and the churchyard. There is a low gate located opposite the front door and another gate opposite the rear door of the house.
