Description

This headstone, located about 7 yards north of the north porch of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of stone and features a broad design with a foliated top. The stone depicts a figure rising from a tomb on the left and Father Time on the right. It commemorates William (W?)eldish, who died in 171(?). The inscription was largely illegible at the time of the last survey.
