Description
Lested Lodge is a farmhouse with an 18th-century front that incorporates an earlier building, featuring late 19th or early 20th-century alterations. The front range is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, while the rear wing to the left is tile-hung. The roofs are covered with plain tiles. The main range dates from the 18th century, with an earlier rear wing set back to the left and a parallel rear range to the right. The front range has two storeys and attics, resting on a brick plinth, and includes a plat band and a modillioned wooden eaves cornice. The roof is half-hipped, with rear stacks positioned to the left and right, and features three hipped dormers. The front has a regular arrangement of five windows, each with 12-pane sashes in open boxes, along with two early 20th-century rectangular bays on the ground floor. The central door consists of four fielded panels, a top light, and a rectangular fanlight with radiating glazing bars. A short bay has been added to the left in the same style. The interior has not been inspected.
