Description

This is a chest tomb from the late 18th century, located about 6 metres west of the tower of the Church of St. Mary in Hunton. It is made of stone and sits on a rectangular stone base. The tomb features a hollow-chamfered plinth, a corniced lid, and moulded side panels. On the north side, there is an inscription dedicated to the daughter of John and Sarah Bishop, who died in the 17th century.
