Description

This is a chest tomb from the 18th century, located about 4 metres west of the north-west buttress of the tower of the Church of St. Mary in Hunton. It is made of stone and sits on a rectangular stone base. The tomb features a deeply chamfered plinth and lid, along with plain side panels. The inscription on the tomb is largely illegible as of the last survey.
