Description
64 to 70 Mote Road is a building dated 1851, which serves as an extension to Hunter's almshouses. It is a single-storey structure made of brown brick, featuring red brick window dressings. The building has a tiled roof with five large projecting brick stacks and includes two gables: one on the extreme right and another on the left that is crow-stepped. The gables display blue brick diaper patterns. Each gable has one cambered casement window and arched doorcases. Beneath the left side gable, there is a through passage flanked by lancet windows. The arch of the passage has stone drip moulding and corbels. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 52, 56, 58, 62, and 64 to 70 (even).
